Eagle Heights Community Garden

Have a green thumb or enjoy gardens? Take advantage of Eagle Heights Community Garden, nestled in the Lakeshore Nature Preserve. Featuring approximately 450 organic garden plots, it brings together students, staff, and community members. One of the oldest community gardens in the nation, it is a great green space to explore and admire the variety of plants. Want to garden yourself? Eagle Heights offers garden plots available for a small fee. Or get involved with F.H. King, a student organization focused on sustainable agriculture and located in Eagle Heights Community Garden. Don’t forget to stop by their Harvest Handouts on campus, where you can pick up some fresh and delicious produce!
